Are you worried about how you feed your pet?

heartThese are extraordinary times where everything has changed. Most of us have experienced emotions and fears that we may never have dreamt of, but through it all with everything changing daily; there has been one constant in our lives – the love and adoration of our dogs – they love us unconditionally and they mean everything to us.

We are vets and we have felt exactly the same with our own pets. For many of us, our dogs are our reason for getting up in the morning and for sticking with some form of normality just to keep them happy. They have helped us through the weeks of lockdown as families cope with the enormity of the changes that we have had to face. They have listened to us and sponged our stresses as well as been the glue that sometimes holds a family together.

For this reason they have needed rewarding and treating – they have shared in our comfort stress eating being rewarded with cheese toastie leftovers and biscuits, the remains of our dinner, but mostly we have bought them extra treats that we know they find irresistible as they deserve them all and more……but we are worried……

Worried that they have ended up heavier and rounder. Their breathing is more laboured and they cannot jump onto the sofa or bed as they used to. We’re worried that they may rupture a ligament which can be very painful, and then there is the cost if they did need surgery. We’re worried that they may have arthritis as they have suddenly started limping and we know that this extra weight is only making it worse……but we cannot help ourselves as we love them more than anyone can imagine, and we all just keep treating.

There is help – a very simple and easy solution!

heartWe are UK based vets with a passion for nutrition and the human-animal bond. We feed our dogs with nutrient rich plant-based ingredients that are packed full of antioxidants, gut microbiome enhancing fibre and natural vitamins and minerals. Everything we promote is ethical and our own dogs just love the food. Once on this new eating plan, you will notice that your dog’s coats are shinier, the weight drops off and they regain their lost energy and vitality. We share what we feed our dogs with you and everything is chosen to be as kind to your pet as it is to our fragile planet with 100% plant-based non-GMO low carbon footprint ingredients and advice. We have had no corporate or pet-food business backing; just a passion for getting it right for our own much loved pets and wanting to help yours!

If we care this much about our planet’s health, imagine how much we care about your dog’s health?

*Our Immune-Boosting Plan is very simple*

heartFeed your dog the food they like and you have stocked in your home whether that be Chappie, Pedigree, Purina, Royal Canin,, Aldi’s own, Harringtons, James Wellbeloved, Tesco’s dog food, Wainwrights, Anallergenic, Grain-free, raw or even Yora, but only feed them three quarters of the daily amount. Stop all the unhealthy bought treats in plastic packaging that is unkind to your pet’s health and to the health of our planet; and instead, the other one quarter of their daily nutrients comes from nutrient-rich cooked vegetables that we should be eating ourselves.

We do NOT advise buying any of the prescription diet foods – they are expensive and not sustainable and have a very high carbon footprint that we all need to be aware of. Hills for example is packaged in South Africa, flown to the UK for sale, contains meat products (that as a planet we need to cut back on), and the plastic packaging is such a worry to our fragile planet as many counties in the UK do not accept the packages in our household recycling, they need to be returned to a vet practice – not sustainable and not kind!
